THE CEREMONY IN A SMALL TUSCAN CHURCH
The first thing you can notice when you look at Martina and Gabriele is love. A union as young as it is strong. Very devoted to the Christian faith, they chose to get married in a small church in the country of the bride’s birth, near Prato, a few kilometers from Florence. A very moving religious ceremony not only by the newlyweds but also by all the guests. Friends and relatives surrounded the spouses with their affection, accompanying them with joy to the wedding day. The bride chose her grandmother as her maid of honor: a special relationship and an indissoluble bond. Martina is also very close to her friends who in fact were at her side throughout the preparation in her “old” room which, shortly after, she would leave to continue her life with her husband Gabriele. One of her closest friends also took care of her hairstyle, carefully arranging every single detail.
THE WEDDING AND THE RECEPTION
The bride’s entrance was very special and exciting because Martina chose to walk down the aisle carrying a wooden cross, which had been given to her some time earlier on the occasion of a spiritual journey. Gabriel was waiting for her at the altar with his heart full of joy and his eyes could not hold back the tears. The groom’s parents gave Martina the bouquet made by her father-in-law with green olive leaves and dried flowers taken from the bouquet that the previous year Martina had grabbed at the wedding of her best friend. After the ceremony in the church, the couple chose to take some shots in a place very dear to them in the Tuscan countryside, a special place where the pre-wedding photo shoot was made. A beautiful wedding reception that was held in La Fornace – Spazio Eventi, a location with an ancient charm but with a modern and refined taste in the Florentine hills. The cutting of the cake was preceded by a very emotional letter that the bride read to all the guests, who applauded moved by the sweet words. The celebrations continued until late at night in the company of the friends of the spouses, with dances and goliardic jokes!
