I love black and white images, a powerful, vibrant, vivid black and white.
A famous quote from journalist photographer Ted Grant says: “When you take color photographs of people, you photograph only their clothes. But when you photograph in black and white, you photograph their soul!”
Shooting in black and white is a very courageous choice, we deprive ourselves of the fundamental element that our eyes are used to seeing, colors.
Black and white gives a feeling of “timeless”, makes the spouses the protagonists of a shot that makes emotions speak, gestures without interference.
Black and white photographs often recall nostalgic memories, they remind us of the past, they make us go back in time, taking us back to a past so close but never so far away.
