About me
Born in Florence, but an explorer of the world. My greatest passion: an insatiable curiosity. It was inevitable then to grow up with the camera in my hands.
Graduated from the international photography academy in Florence, I supported great photographers in my work, until I realized my dream of opening my own studio, where I can finally give life to my projects. I love what I do, and that’s why I can’t define it as a job. I like to think of my camera as if it were an extension of my arm, because I live with photography every day.
In my photoshoots I always look for a shot not only objectively beautiful, but with a strong empathy, the same that I try to create with the subject in front of me. Whoever is in front of my camera lens, will enable themself to relax and expose their vulnerability. I love creating harmonious and elegant images, but an image is not complete if it does not arouse an emotion or, as I define it, a “happy thought”. Creating a memory, this thing has always fascinated me since I was a
child, when I leafed through the family albums. The word “photography” comes from ancient Greek: light (φῶς | phôs) and handwriting/ writing/drawing
(γραφή | graphè) “writing with light”, as soon as I learned the literal meaning that’s how I interpreted it. So I started looking at everything with new eyes.
All this still fascinates me today, seeing a subject that changes and takes shape according to the light. This is what I do in all my shots, I let the light take over the subject. I follow and interpret it giving life to my stories.
